Leaving from

Tours from Casablanca

10 private routes: four day trips, a two-day Chefchaouen trip and five grand tours of seven to fifteen days through the imperial cities to the Sahara.

Casablanca is where most flights land, and our ten routes from here are built around that: half a day in the city with the Hassan II Mosque, day trips to Rabat, El Jadida and Marrakech, and a two-day trip to the blue town of Chefchaouen.

The desert is not a short trip from Casablanca. Our Sahara tours from here take between seven and fifteen days and travel through the imperial cities on the way — Rabat, Fes and Meknes, then the Middle Atlas cedar forests and the Ziz gorges to Merzouga — before turning south-west to Marrakech and, on the longest route, the Atlantic coast.

Every tour starts with an airport or hotel transfer and ends where the itinerary says, in Casablanca or Marrakech, so you can fly out from either.

Good to know

Questions about leaving from Casablanca

Do you pick us up at the airport?

Yes. The grand tours start with an airport transfer to your hotel in Casablanca; day trips start at your hotel, the airport or the cruise port.

How long is the day trip to Marrakech?

About thirteen hours door to door, with three hours on the motorway each way and a guided visit of the medina in between. If you have two days, staying overnight in Marrakech is the better plan.

Can we reach the Sahara from Casablanca in a few days?

The desert is a long way from Casablanca, so our Sahara tours from here take seven days or more and go through the imperial cities on the way. For a short desert trip, start from Marrakech instead.

Where do the grand tours end?

In Casablanca or Marrakech, depending on the itinerary; the 9-day tour lets you choose. Each tour page says where it ends so you can book your flight out.

What is included in the price?

The vehicle with driver-guide and fuel, airport and hotel transfers, the nights in hotels and riads with breakfast, the desert camp with dinner, the camel ride, and local licensed guides in the imperial cities. Lunches, drinks, tips and entrance fees are not included; each tour page lists exactly what is in and out.

Is there a desert night on every grand tour?

Yes, every Sahara tour from Casablanca spends a night at the Merzouga camp, reached by camel at sunset.

How do we confirm a tour?

Tell us your dates and group size, we confirm we can run it and quote the price, then you hold the dates with a 15% deposit through PayPal. The balance is paid on arrival in Morocco.

What if we have to cancel?

Cancellation is free up to 7 days before departure and the deposit is refunded in full. Inside 7 days, write to us and we will do what we can with the hotels and the camp.
